One of the major financial services company Visa announced that it partners with Blockchain.com on issuing crypto debit card.
Visa is a multinational credit and debit card payment systems which is one of the most popular payment method available around the world. Initially, it will be available for United States residents with plans on future growths.
The crypto card users will get access to the payment functionality and cash balance check wherever Visa debit card is accepted.
It announced that there will be no sign-up or annual fees, and no transaction fees. Users can earn 1% of all purchases back in crypto.
Visa card is powered by California-based company Marqeta, which helped develop crypto finance firm Swipe’s crypto visa card in September 2020.
Visa has been growing its crypto capabilities and solutions for the last years due to the growing interest in crypto. It provides different payment support for digital currency. It also partners with such major crypto platforms as Coinbase, BlockFi, Circle, Wirex and others on related matters.
